Fundraising

All money donated will go into a savings account to prepare for Liam’s needs as they arrise.

These needs include a wheelchair accessible van and home modifications.

He currently needs a wheelchair van that could cost up to $70,000, with the added cost of higher insurance rates, and higher cost to maintain this vehicle. This vehicle is intended to be Liam’s van. Where Liam goes, he will need it as he will not be able to just jump into a friends car. Feelings of isolation and depression can come along with Liam’s disability and a van would help keep him active with his community and friends.

Home modifications for a moderately sized home cost around $40,000. This includes widening doorways, creating a full accessible bathroom, lowering cabinets in the kitchens, and insuring that all entrances are wheelchair accessible.

These are basic needs for Liam. To get around the community, go to school and move freely in his own home.

We need your help.
